Brenna Lincoln, MA
Brenna is in her fourth year of the Counseling Psychology PhD program at Boston College. As a doctoral trainee, Brenna is thrilled to have the opportunity to learn and contribute at Newton Neuropsychology Group. She aims to gain skill and knowledge in neuropsychological assessment while providing supportive and empowering care.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Brenna earned her MA in Mental Health Counseling and BA in Applied Psychology and Human Development both at Boston College. She is passionate about working with youth and adults and has done so in a variety of settings. Most recently she completed a year-long practicum at the McLean-Franciscan Child and Adolescent Inpatient program. Previously, she completed a practicum with the McLean Anxiety Mastery Program where she worked with teens struggling primarily with OCD and anxiety disorders. Brenna has also worked as an outpatient and outreach mental health clinician at Advocates Community Counseling, a high school clinical counseling intern, and program leader at a therapeutic summer camp. In addition to her clinical work, Brenna serves as manager of the Purpose Lab at Boston College where she researches purpose development, mentorship, and related constructs. She finds that this research enriches her clinical practice as it continuously reminds her that wellness involves not only mitigating suffering but also promoting thriving.
Brenna lives in Boston, MA and loves exploring the city’s food, parks, and culture. She also enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
