Dr. Christina Lin
Dr. Christina Lin earned a B.S. in biology and B.A. in psychology with a minor in neuroscience from Providence College. She received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from William James College in Newton, MA, where she was a part of the Children and Families of Adversity and Resilience (CFAR) concentration. Dr. Lin has many years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults through her work within the Wayland public school district, the psychiatry department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, The Center for Children with Special Needs (CCSN) at Tufts Floating Children’s Hospital, and The Manville School, a therapeutic day school in Boston. She also worked in the Faja Laboratory at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she was a part of a team studying social and cognitive development of children and adults on the autism spectrum, with neurodevelopmental conditions, and with neurotypical development.
Dr. Lin completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Neuropsychological Assessment Clinic (NAC) in Brighton, where she provided thorough neuropsychological evaluations for a diverse population of individuals from toddlerhood to young adulthood. She completed her two-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric clinical neuropsychology at the Child and Adolescent Testing Service (CATS) at McLean Hospital, the largest psychiatric affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Throughout her fellowship, Dr. Lin provided comprehensive evaluations consisting of neuropsychological, academic, and psychological testing, to individuals ranging in age from 5 to 22. The aim of these in-depth assessments was to offer diagnostic clarity for individuals with complex clinical profiles characterized by neurodiversity, learning differences, and psychiatric conditions, as well as recognize areas of strength to guide tailored recommendations and academic/intervention planning.
Dr. Lin specializes in the neuropsychological assessment of children, adolescents, and young adults. Her professional interests include the evaluation of neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), as well as mood and anxiety disorders. She has a strong passion for the early identification of neurocognitive and learning differences in young children, as early detection is crucial for accessing services and achieving better outcomes. In her free time, Dr. Lin enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her Duck Tolling Retriever, Benny. Her hobbies include cooking with her husband, doing yoga, and traveling.
