Dr. Ida Kellison

Dr. Ida Kellison is a clinical neuropsychologist, specializing in assessment of adults and older adults. She has extensive training in the assessments of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other types of dementia, as well as acquired brain injury including stroke and traumatic brain injury. 

 

Prior to joining Newton Neuropsychology Group, Dr. Kellison was Chief of Neuropsychology at Commonwealth Psychology Associates (CPA), and most recently, Assistant Director for Evaluation Services at Lifestance Health Massachusetts. At LifeStance Health and CPA, she worked with late adolescent and adult clients (ages 17+) providing comprehensive assessments of cognitive and emotional functioning across a range of neurodegenerative, neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, autism spectrum and learning disorders) and mental health conditions. 

 

Dr. Kellison received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from the University of Florida. She completed her two-year fellowship at the VA Boston Healthcare System, with appointments at Boston University School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School. During the fellowship, Dr. Kellison worked with returning veterans presenting with a variety of cognitive and behavioral symptoms, including traumatic brain injury, PTSD, depression, learning disorders, and ADHD. 

 

Dr. Kellison spends most of her free time with her twin 6 year-olds where they enjoy trying a bundle of different activities. They frequently make art projects, garden, travel, go hiking, and they’re even learning to ski!
