Dr. Jason Alan

Dr. Jason Alan earned his Bachelor of Science from Bridgewater State University, where he majored in psychology and minored in criminal justice. He completed his graduate education at William James College in Newton, MA, where he earned his master’s degree in counseling psychology, followed by his doctorate in clinical psychology. He completed a concentration in neuropsychology.


Dr. Alan completed pre-doctoral training in neuropsychological assessment at various multidisciplinary hospitals in the greater Boston area. These included the VA Boston Medical Center, Edith Nourse Rogers Veterans Memorial Hospital (Bedford VA), and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). He completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Phoenix, Arizona. Through all of these training experiences, Dr. Alan provided comprehensive neuropsychological and psychodiagnostic assessments for memory disorders, traumatic brain injury, pre-surgical evaluations, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and psychiatric disorders. He was also trained to provide evidence-based psychotherapeutic treatment interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and Cognitive Rehabilitation in both individual and group format.


Dr. Alan completed his two-year postdoctoral fellowship in adult clinical neuropsychology at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts. Throughout his fellowship, Dr. Alan provided comprehensive neuropsychological and psychodiagnostics evaluations across clinically diverse populations for adults through the lifespan. He also provided cognitive rehabilitation in group format for patients diagnosed with ADHD.


Dr. Alan works with adults of all ages and evaluates a wide range of diagnostic concerns, such as ADHD, autism, memory disorders, traumatic brain injury, neurocognitive disorders of various medical etiologies, and mood/personality disorders. He takes a whole-health approach to each assessment, with the goal of identifying salient treatment recommendations for each patient.
