Dr. Caitlyn Burns

Hi, I'm Dr. Burns!

I specialize in the neuropsychological assessment of children, adolescents, and young adults, with clinical expertise encompassing a broad spectrum of neurodevelopmental conditions. I am committed to helping families gain a comprehensive understanding of how their child learns and functions, so they, their school teams, and additional members of their care team can best support growth and development. I place a strong emphasis on providing practical recommendations that can be implemented at home and in school settings.

In addition to assessment, I am trained to provide individual and group psychotherapy, drawing on extensive experience in university centers, outpatient clinics, and school systems. My therapeutic approach is fundamentally relational and integrates evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to provide personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each client. Outside of clinical practice, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and taking my dogs out to play.
