
Dr. Lindsay Conley
Dr. Lindsay Conley completed her doctoral program at William James College in Newton, MA. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Skidmore College. After Skidmore, she worked as a Psychiatric Technician at Silver Hill Hospital in Connecticut, where she gained valuable experience working in Adolescent Acute Care, Adult Detox, and Adult Acute Care units. Her predoctoral internship at Community Services Institute in Springfield, MA, focused on trauma-informed and culturally sensitive therapy and assessment for children and families. During this internship, she conducted neuropsychological assessments and testing for children, adolescents, and adults. Her evaluations addressed a wide range of diagnostic questions, including personality disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, trauma and stressor-related disorders, autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and specific learning disorders. Currently, Dr. Conley is completing her post-doctoral fellowship here at Newton Neuropsychology Group, where she worked part-time as a psychometrician for two years.

Dr. Conley brings a diverse background to her practice, having worked in private practice, hospitals, and community mental health centers. She is passionate about promoting resilience in children, adolescents, and young adults, with a particular focus on those who have experienced trauma. Her clinical practice emphasizes evidence-based interventions, early intervention, and preventive strategies to foster positive outcomes and long-term well-being. Dr. Conley's integrative approach, tailored to each client's unique needs, draws from a range of modalities including Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), play therapy, attachment-based methods, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Dr. Conley is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore challenges and work towards meaningful change, emphasizing collaboration and empowerment in her individualized care approach.

A lifelong learner and mental health advocate, Dr. Conley is passionate about making a positive impact on her clients' lives and the broader community. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, traveling, and spending time with her Cocker Spaniel, Millie.
