Dr. Megan Raichelson

 

Dr. Megan Raichelson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology, with a minor in biology, from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada. She went on to complete her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in clinical psychology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.


Dr. Raichelson’s pre-doctoral training took place in a variety of settings, including private practice, state hospitals, and outpatient clinics. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Tewksbury State Hospital, where she rotated through the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Public Health. As an intern, she conducted neuropsychological and psycho-diagnostic assessments for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, traumatic brain injury, and neurodevelopmental disorders. She also provided evidence-based interventions for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, substance use, and post-traumatic stress disorder.


Currently, Dr. Raichelson is completing her post-doctoral fellowship at Newton Neuropsychology Group. She works with clients across the lifespan, using a person-centered approach and tailoring her assessment and treatment strategies to each individual’s needs. Outside of work, Dr. Raichelson enjoys spending time with family and friends (including her two cats, Otto and Oscar) and searching for the best pasta in Boston.
