
Dr. Aikisha Harley
Dr. Aikisha Harley earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she double majored in psychology and biomedical engineering and minored in cultural anthropology. She obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology at Palo Alto University in Palo Alto, CA. She completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Loma Linda VA Healthcare System and a two-year neuropsychology postdoctoral residency at Kaiser
Permanente, Roseville.
Through her various training opportunities, Dr. Harley refined her neuropsychological assessment skills of individuals across the lifespan with various neurological/medical, neurodevelopmental, and psychiatric conditions. During her internship in addition to providing comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, she conducted evidence based psychotherapeutic interventions. As a fellow, she conducted comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations with adults, older adults, and pediatrics for a variety of conditions including mood concerns, dementia, traumatic brain injuries, epilepsy, and Parkinson’s disease. She also has experience in pre-surgical and decisional capacity
evaluations.
Dr. Harley specializes in neuropsychological assessment across the lifespan. She evaluates a wide range of concerns including ADHD, learning differences, emotional conditions, autism, memory and cognitive issues, and traumatic brain injury. She has a strong passion for early detection and intervention of cognitive and learning challenges in children and adults, as early identification can lead to better prognosis of potential treatment outcomes. She takes an integrated and holistic approach to assessment that considers psychosocial factors of the individual in addition to test results so as to tailor recommendations to each client. During her free time, she enjoys reading as well as spending time with family, friends, and her dogs.
