
Dr. Amarit Rosin
Dr. Amarit Rosin earned her BA from Boston University in where she majored in psychology. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from The George Washington University in Washington, DC with focuses on individual psychotherapy and testing. Dr. Rosin completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the counseling center of the University at Albany in Albany, NY. While at UAlbany, Dr. Rosin provided evidenced based psychotherapy to university students with a variety of clinical needs, including anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD,
substance abuse and personality disorders. She also provided neuropsychological assessments to students undergoing evaluation for learning disorders.
Dr. Rosin has experience working in private practice as a psychotherapist, tailoring the treatment to the specific needs of the individual to provide compassionate care in a safe and supportive environment. Her professional interests include older adolescents transitioning to adulthood,
supporting parents during pregnancy and after birth, and supporting parents following the diagnosis of a child. She is excited to join NNG and be a part of a thriving practice of neuropsychologists and therapists.
Dr. Rosin lives in Newton with her husband and children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, travelling, cooking and spending time with her standard poodle, Shadow.
