Dr. Elizabeth Byrne (Albrinck)

Dr. Byrne received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at William James College (previously the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology) in Newton, MA. She completed her APA Consortium Internship at the Dr. Leon O. Brenner Center for Psychological Assessment and Consultation in Newton, MA, where she provided comprehensive neuropsychological/psychodiagnostic assessments, as well as an internship at the Boston Health Care for the Homeless program in Waltham, MA, where she provided evidence-based psychotherapeutic treatment interventions. In addition, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Suffolk County Juvenile Court Clinic. Prior to her doctoral training, Dr. Byrne received a Master’s Degree in Professional Psychology at William James College, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminology & Law Studies at Marquette University.

 

Dr. Byrne provides neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for adolescents and adults. She specializes in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals with developmental disorders (e.g., ADHD, autism spectrum, intellectual and learning disorders), neurological disorders such as fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), and emotional problems that can affect personal relationships, academic/occupational performance, and/or social functioning (e.g., mood disorders, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders including prodromal psychosis).
