Dr. Lindsay Arader

Clinical Staff

Hi, I'm Dr. Arader!

My top priority is to establish psychological safety in our relationship, whether you meet me in a therapeutic or assessment-based context. I am a strong believer that this foundation allows us to collaborate best on defining what recovery means for you, so we can begin to take steps

together toward that pursuit.

As a psychotherapist, I use an integrative approach, drawing on evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, through a humanistic, relational, and trauma-informed lens. I work with older adolescents, adults, and couples. Depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, life transitions, relationship difficulties, matters related to sexual orientation and identity, anger, OCD, substance use concerns, eating disorders, and personality disorders are all presentations I treat with respect and care.

When I am wearing my neuropsychological and psychological assessment hat, you can find me evaluating ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, memory concerns, mood & anxiety disorders, learning disorders, and diagnostic clarification around bipolar, psychotic, substance use, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. My stance on assessment is that the diagnostic label is not the end goal itself. Rather, my aim is to help you contextualize your functioning in a way that makes your world make more sense to you and others, both to validate your lived experience and to provide concrete steps to better accommodate your unique needs moving forward.

Outside of work, I can usually be found listening to podcasts, exploring nature, attempting a DIY redecoration project, cooking food and eating said food, and cycling through various ways to stave off the urge to mindlessly scroll through my phone.
