Sarah Davey

3rd year Clinical Psychology Doctoral Student

Hi, I'm Sarah!

I'm a third-year Clinical Psychology doctoral (PsyD) student at William James College completing my Advanced Practicum at Newton Neuro. I have experience conducting neuropsychological/academic evaluations with children in research and school settings. I also have experience working with adult populations in academic medical center and outpatient clinic settings. These cases have predominantly included TBIs, mood disorders, dementia, and developmental disorders. Academically, I am particularly interested in differing presentations of neuropsychological diagnoses across age and gender and the interactions between neurological and psychological symptoms. I'm excited to see patients of all ages this year.

My approach in both assessment and therapeutic capacities is warm, evidence-based, and client-centered. I typically employ cognitive behavioral, object-relations, and biological perspectives. I am gender-affirming, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and welcome neurodiversity.

Outside of professional work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, particularly hiking in the woods or swimming in the ocean, exploring Boston with friends, and spending rainy days curled up with a good book alongside my cat, Phoebe.
